Aside from cultural highlights such as hitting every thrift shop in the county, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and outlet shopping, we pretty much just kicked it at the beach.
****NB Future House Guests: Barbie filled our freezer to busting with home made cookies and pot stickers before she left. She's invited back.
Hi Tamara,
ReplyDeleteI thought it would be easiest to answer your questions on your blog. You asked about almond flour and erythritol. Unless you are trying to go low carb, don't bother with the alternative sweeteners, just sub in about 1/2 cup of sugar for my erythritol/stevia combo. But the almond flour might be worth it, it's actually quite useful even in regular baking. Sub in a bit for regular flour in cookies and you have a lovely moist product.
